All the New THINGS!

Happy Anniversary to Yarn Therapy! September 2017 marks our 6th year! So many things go through this rusty old brain of mine. I turned the monumentally mind bending age of 60 today and I thought it might be time to tell you at least 6, if not 60 things that are new and fun in the shop.

We received our shipment of Silky Wool, and what a hit it has been. Everyone walks in and greets it like an old friend. That shows me the power of a good yarn. Silky Wool is no spring chicken but it has staying power. We have a load of colors and the soft loftiness and airy touch is even more wonderful this go round.

The Great Adirondack hand dyed organic cotton comes in crazy fun colorways that are nothing short of delightful. And we finally received our Silky Sock order. The colors are off the charts. The soft silk captures dye in a unique way that is signature to this brand.

Zitron has a brand new yarn by the name of YAK. A blend of Tasmanian Wool and Yak, this yarn is luscious. Squishy soft, 547 yards of butter like yarn.

DJE Handworks has a new scarf kit for the weavers. Sunrise/Sunset Scarf uses Mountain Colors hand painted Twizzlefoot celebrates the explosion of colors that start and end our day.

United, the sport weight yarn that launched a shop full of "Lost in Time" shawls and myriad projects throughout the shop has been restocked and we just can't keep our hands off of it. Want something affordable, machine washable in loads of pretty colors? This is your yarn!

Linea by Crave Yarn just arrived in all it's glory. Single ply, fingering weight in a blend of fine merino and cashmere. Sigh soft. The colors are rich and deep.

Last, and surely not least, the yarns from Carol Sunday's collection at Sunday Knits, has basically taken over the shop. To say we have tables full is not an exaggeration. Check out our class schedule! Sunday Knits yarn and her pattern, Painted Desert, are sure to get your creative and Fair Isle juices flowing. The class is free with the purchase of yarn in the shop so take advantage of this anniversary special.

Happy Anniversary happens but once a year! I hope you can stop by on September 9th and join in the festivities. There will be cake, sangria and other treats! There will be drawings throughout the day for fun prizes that include yarn and needles. There will be a sale. I mean really, how can you NOT come. The game doesn't start until 8pm so come on by! SEE YOU SOON!

As always, thank you for your kind patronage, support and friendship.

Love, Marianne
