Happy December! I hope you had a tummy-filled Thanksgiving surrounded by those you love! This time of year can be so exciting and yet so stressful. Let us help you take a breath. We have gift certificates, one-of-a-kind gifts, delightful cards, ornaments, and loads of stocking stuffers.

Classes fill quickly and are packed with a lot of information in a structured amount of time.  You don’t want to miss anything! Please be on time and ready to begin.

To ensure that you have a seat at the table, we ask that you pay for your classes in advance. Don’t miss out! You can sign up online!



Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Join us for merriment and fundraising! Our annual silent auction to benefit a local family through the Department of Children and Families will be held on Sunday, Dec. 17th from 1-5 pm!

Please remember this is a CASH ONLY EVENT, no checks …Thank you!

Sunday is our Fun(d)day!

December 17th, 1pm to 5pm


  • Silent Auction: Be sure to check out all the beautiful samples and other goodies that will be up for auction. Auction closes at 5pm. Only cash will be accepted, no checks so please plan ahead! Thank you!
  • Adopt a Skein: Yes, for $5 you can adopt a brand new skein of yarn -- while supplies last, of course.
  • Needle Felt Ornament Class:  2 to 3 pm. $5 gets you a ball, a felting needle, some roving and Shari Hill's brilliant instruction!

Refreshments will be served.
Come join in the merry-making.


Learn to Knit
Come learn to knit with us. All materials are included. The needles, yarn, project bag, and four hours of instruction for $55.

Come get hooked -- on crochet that is! All materials are included. The hook, yarn, project bag, and four hours of instruction for $55.

Close to You with Rosa

Encore! Need a project that uses one skein of sock yarn? Back by popular demand, Close to You, by Justyna Lorkowski, is free and gorgeous! Sign up for this cute one-shot class and join the fun!

When: Saturday, December 9th, 1 to 3pm


  • Pattern free on Ravelry
  • One skein (approximately 400 yards) of sock weight yarn 
  • 24" US6 circular needles
  • Stitch marker

Skills: Must be able to knit and purl with confidence.



Holly and Ivy Beret with Sarah

This adorable pattern can be knitted in so many color combinations! Create your own palette and learn the basics of Fair Isle knitting with two hands, no floats! Lots of rest rows to catch your breath, you can do this! Promise!

When: Saturday, December 16th, 10am to 12pm


  • Pattern provided.
  • One skein each of three contrasting colors of Sunday Knits sport weight. (enough yarn for two hats)
  • 16” US3 & US4 needles
  • Stitch marker

Skills: Must be able to knit and purl with confidence.


Homework: Cast on 106 stitches using smaller needles in your choice of color, join for knitting in the round. K1, P1 for 10 rounds. STOP HERE and bring to class!



Candle Flame Brioche Scarf with Rosa

Start the New Year off wielding your brioche skills with this beautiful pattern by Nancy Marchant.  Rosa, our resident Brioche expert, has adapted the Lapghan pattern to make a scarf. It is a stunner!

When: Wednesdays, December 6th & 13th, 6 to 8pm


  • Pattern available through Ravelry or buy-in-store.
  • Two contrasting colorways of Sunday Knits sport weight yarn, 2 skeins of each color
  • 24” US 5 needles

Skills: Must be able to knit and purl with confidence and read basic stitches. This is an intermediate class.
