STRANGE BREW KAL by Tin Can Knits with Sarah
JOIN Sarah and the gang for this fun Fair Isle KAL. Strange Brew, is a Fair Isle yoke recipe. In this knit-a-long we will be knitting a body and sleeves then join for the yoke (the super fun part). We fear this might be addictive. With 25 size options, (7 child sizes, 11 women's sizes, and 7 men's sizes) and a plug and play yoke guideline pattern, NO MATH, what is not to love?
Yarn: DK (gotta get gauge). We will be using Silky Wool by Elsebeth Lavold. We like it for its light weight, next to the skin wearability, and variety of rich heathered colors.
Needles: US #4's and 6's, 32" and DPN's in each size (adjust length for child wear)
Please Note: Gauge in Fair Isle is often different from gauge in stockinette. You will likely require a larger needle when working in this form of colorwork.
When: Saturdays, October 21st and 28th, 10am to 12pm, and Wednesday, November 8th, 6 to 8pm
HOMEWORK: YOU MUST KNIT AND BLOCK A SWATCH IN US 4'S before coming to class.

You will need to purchase your pattern (Buy in Store option available) and yarn in advance. The instructional assistance is FREE with purchase of yarn.
